✔  단위 테스트 VS. 통합 테스트

- 단위 테스트 (Unit Test)

장점: 하나의 모듈이나 클래스에 대해 세밀한 부분까지 테스트 가능 

단점: 모듈 간에 상호 작용 검증 못함

 

- 통합 테스트 (Integration Test)

장점: 두 개 이상의 모듈이 연결된 상태를 테스트 모듈 간의 연결에서 발생하는 에러 검증 가능

단점: 너무 무거움

지금까진, 항상 @SpringBootTest를 사용하여 통합 테스트만을 진행했었다.

사실 지금까지 큰 프로젝트는 진행한적이 없기에, 무겁다는 느낌은 많이 못 받았는데

실무에선 단위 테스트가 빠르게 테스트코드를 작성할 수 있으면서도 가장 효과적이어서

자주 쓰이는 것 같으니 미리 연습해두려고한다.

 

실습은 간단한 CRUD 기능을 만들고,

이것저것 찾아보면서 이에 대한 테스트 코드를 작성해보았다.

 

단위 테스트는 Mockito와 @MockMvcTest를 사용하여 학습하였다.

📌 Mock 객체란?

• 실제 객체를 만들어 사용하기에 시간, 비용 등의 Cost가 높은경우에 사용한다. 
• 가짜객체를 만들어 가짜객체가 원하는행위를 했는지를 검증하는 방식이다.

📌 Controller Test 코드 작성법

• MockMvc를 통해 api를 호출하며 해당컨트롤러에서 의존하고 있는 객체를 Mock객체로 만들어 주입해준다.(@MockBean 어노테이션 사용)
• Mock 객체는 가짜객체이므로 리턴되는값이 없으므로, given & when 을 사용하여 원하는 값을 리턴 하도록 미리 정의해준다.
• 로직이 진행된후 해당 행위가 진행됐는지 verify를 통해 검증해줍니다.

1. 전달할 DTO 생성

2. post 방식으로 해당 url에 전달

3. JSON 타입임을 명시

.contentType(MediaType.APPLICATION_JSON)

4. Body 영역은 문자열로 표현하기 위해 ObjectMapper을 통해 문자열 JSON으로 변환

.content(new ObjectMapper().writeValueAsString(honeyPostDto)))

5. 응답 데이터 출력

print를 하면 좀 더 직관적으로 확인가능하다.

(2) when : Service의 findOne 메소드가 실행됐을 때 -> then : (1)에서 저장한 객체 반환

(3). GET으로 가져왔을 때, 예상한 값이 나오는지 검증.

(1) 조회시 조회용 DTO를 생성해주었기 때문에, 조회용 DTO로 객체를 생성

(2) 임의로 생성한 두개의 DTO를 List로 생성

(3) service의 finAll 메소드를 생성할 시, 미리 생성해 둔 List가 나와야한다고 가정한다.

(4) Get으로 받아온 객체와 일치하는지 검증

 

두개를 잘 가져왔다 ✔
